Membership in SEAC provides all management team members in the district with a full range of services related to collective bargaining and human resources management.
The following SEAC Services are provided at no additional cost through the SEAC subscriptions to news services and SEAC Staff time and resources:
• Data
and Information needed in negotiations and human resources
management.
• Summaries of PERB Decisions, Factfinding Reports, Court Cases,
and Legal Opinions.
• A Hotline at 949.387.1869, or email at seac@seacal.org. to
request SEAC Staff research of contract language, salary and
benefit schedules, or any other data and information needed for
negotiations or management operations.
• An SEAC paid lobbyist in Sacramento to guide the SEAC Legislative
Agenda, and represent SEAC Member Districts in labor relations.
• SEAC Management representatives to match the unions’
representation on all the major state committees that address
collective bargaining issues.
• Regular access, contact, and input to the Governor and Staff, the
Legislature and Staff, the Secretary of Education, and the relevant
state agencies and courts.
“Cost Plus” services such as onsite consultations and training are available to SEAC Member Districts at a 50% discount to non-members.
