Reasons to Join SEAC

  1. SEAC reliably serves school and community college district certificated and classified management as a central source of information and support for maintaining program, policies, and procedures in employer-employee relations and negotiations.

  2. SEAC services cost less because the Association is an alternative to legal services when members require information only.

  3. The SEAC executive director has over forty years experience in public education and employer-employee relations.

  4. SEAC is well known for prompt and comprehensive responses.

  5. SEAC office resources include PERB decisions; court decisions; fact-finding recommendations; and certificated and classified collective bargaining agreement.

  6. SEAC's library includes articles, books, journals, and many other publications.

  7. SEAC is the only resource for regularly scheduled training programs in employee relations and negotiations.

  8. SEAC can promptly communicate electronically with school and community college districts in California.

  9. SEAC's annual membership fee is a mandated cost, 75 percent of which is subject to reimbursement as a mandated cost of collective bargaining.

  10. SEAC is an effective advocate of the interests of school and community college district management in employer-employee relations.
