SEAC Mission, Vision and Goals
MISSION AND VALUES
Our mission is the education and professional development of superintendents as well as representing district
management interests and views on statewide, regional, local, and district levels regarding collective bargaining through research, training, and advocacy.
Our fundamental values are:
1) Putting student interests first in bargaining;
2) Advocate and protect managements rights to lead and operate the school district;
3) Assist districts with building and protecting their fiscal integrity; and
4) Assist districts in providing competitive salaries, benefits, and working conditions for their employees
GOALS
The SEAC Board of Directors has adopted two focused goals for 2011-2012. They are as follows:
- Our major goal is to be the "go to organization" for assisting school district management teams in restoring the collective bargaining process in alignment with our four core values.
- Our other new major goal is to be the key independent thinking advocate for rallying superintendent voices for collective bargaining employer-employee rights with a focus on students.
